Our Story
At Social Cinema Foundation, we believe storytelling is a powerful path to healing — and that young voices deserve to be heard.
We create safe, supportive spaces where young adults can navigate their mental health journeys through the art of filmmaking. Through hands-on guidance, mentorship from industry professionals, and access to professional production resources, we help emerging storytellers bring their authentic stories to life.
Our programs walk participants through every step of the creative process — from shaping a script to producing a finished short film — giving them the skills, confidence, and platform to share their experiences with the world.
By amplifying young voices, we don’t just produce films — we spark conversations, break down stigma, and empower the next generation to lead with resilience, creativity, and courage.
Our vision is a future where every young person, no matter their background, has the opportunity to be seen, heard, and celebrated through the power of film.
Join us in building a world where storytelling heals, connects, and inspires change.
